Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great views overlooking the lough from the spacious and luxurious room with tea/coffee making facilities, and a limitation in the front-facing views. The service was superb, going the extra mile with lovely gestures, although the early morning bottle crates emptying was a slight disturbance. The location had immense potential but felt unfinished in parts, with some noise from kids at the pool and limited seating areas for relaxation. Dining was excellent with beautifully presented local produce and a top-notch breakfast experience. The facilities were well-kept and enjoyable.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful. The rooms were excellent, spacious, and extremely clean, offering breathtaking views of the lake. The service was fantastic, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The location was amazing, providing scenic walks and convenient access to local attractions. The dining experience had its highs and lows, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.
Returning to this hotel for the New Year, I found the rooms quite dated with dust, cobwebs, and stains on the carpet. However, the staff, from Neil who greets you to the maid who tidies your room, were friendly and helpful. The service helped smooth out a few hiccups during our stay. The location, while beautiful with fabulous scenery, felt like an afterthought for a five-star status. Dining in the Carolina restaurant was enjoyable with a good selection on the buffet.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable, great for relaxing together in the evening, although a bit of a refresh could be nice. The service was top-notch with helpful and friendly staff. The location, near the lough, was beautiful and relaxing, but some aspects were a bit poor. Dining was average, and the facilities were satisfactory.
My stay at Lough Erne resort was a mix of positives and negatives. The lodge rooms were conveniently located just steps from the hotel entrance, but I noticed quite a few cobwebs. The service, although mostly friendly and professional, had a rude and dismissive encounter during my bill payment. The location is ideal for peace and seclusion, although some found the bar a bit formal. The dining experience offered a wide range of choices and exceptional breakfast but lacked warmth in service. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
